List of 10 multimedia items to take with you on a trip
A trip is a journey to a new country, a new nation, new traditions, new cultures and new ways of doing things. Like a journey through time, a trip to a new country is an opportunity to see new landscapes and new settings. What electronic devices should you bring along to make this trip a success? In this article, we tell you all about it and draw up a list of 10 electronic devices you should bring with you on your trip.
If you’re struggling to decide which devices to bring, our article has put together a list just for you.
1.Cameras
The first item on our list, the camera, is a digital object that you can take with you on your trip. It’s a great way to save memories of your trip and make it unforgettable. The list of cameras is divided into four main categories: SLRs, hybrids, bridges and compacts. You’ll be able to choose the category you want when you leave. Each category has its own specific features.
2.Connected watches
Connected watches are the latest in technological gadgetry. When travelling, they’ll give your look a high-tech, if not futuristic, edge. As well as embellishing your look, your connected watch is also a guarantor of your health, one of the main functions provided by the watch. When travelling, this is an important feature to have. You can choose between waterproof watches and normal watches. This is an important point of choice. Also, the charging mode and charging time can help you decide which travel watch to buy.
3.Tablets
This isn’t a travel essential, but we’ve included it in the list of gadgets. The advantage of a tablet is that it combines all the functions of many gadgets in a single device. And as well as keeping you company, it will provide you with a distraction within arm’s reach, which isn’t necessarily necessary when travelling.
4.Laptop computers
Another non-essential gadget when travelling, the laptop is a multimedia object that you can take with you on your trip. From e-mails to your work, it lets you keep an eye on what’s important at your desk. It’s not essential, but it provides unique functions despite its weight, so think about it.
5.Mobile phones
Not an essential part of your trip, a mobile phone is a multimedia object that you can take with you wherever you go. A digital companion par excellence, the mobile phone can be used as a camera, torch and many other functions during your trip.
If you’re a seasoned traveller and you’re travelling without a mobile phone, it may be a good idea to keep it with you.
6.Drones
The drone is a multimedia object that is an extra on our list, offering functionalities that no other object can provide. Nevertheless, bringing one on your trip is an important choice to make, because in addition to its weight, bringing a drone is risky because of the uncertainties associated with the vagaries of flights and weather conditions.
If you’re a professional drone photographer, however, we advise you to bring it along for some unique photo opportunities.
7.Kindle e-book
The Kindle is an important multimedia item to have on your trip. As well as keeping you company on your plane flight. The e-reader will allow you to spend your stay in complete tranquillity, equipped with your favourite novels without the clutter that this implies. What’s more, it will allow you to make some great discoveries during your trip, by discovering local authors or authors who are well known in the region.
The e-reader is an important multimedia object for culture lovers.
8.Action cameras
The action camera is an essential multimedia item if you’re travelling to thrill-seeking countries. The action camera will allow you to save your journey without risking damaging your camera. Very rarely used when travelling, it will make you look like an original and offer you unique images, if not always well framed.
9.Portable speakers
The penultimate multimedia item on our list, portable speakers are a must-have if you’re travelling with a group or family. They’ll let you listen to the music you want and allow you to enjoy and share your playlist while you’re on the move.
The portable speaker is not excessively heavy and the possibilities for its use are immense.
10.Headphones
The last device on this list, and unlike the portable speaker, headphones and earphones are not for sharing. For this reason, we advise against bringing them along. Even though they weigh less than other multimedia objects, they are not very interesting for travelling. These are generally items for young travellers.
If you still want to bring one, choose one that is visible and water-resistant.
