Acelor Mital with Rio Tinto is present to Madagascar it has workplaces there, where they employ people to work on metallurgy industry. The group is well known and famous in the country. Chupa Chups, the lollipop brand is also seen from time to time in shop scopes and, is very appreciated by malagasy people. As the oil brand Repsol, who feeds sometimes motorcycles oil tanks present in the country. 

Through those industrial brands Spanish is present and selling in Madagascar and radiates in the island.

A diaspora who are living in the island.

Madagascar counts an important number of Spanish people living in the country. They are resident in the country and participate to the shining of the country, many of them are doing the come and go between Spain and Madagascar and  create a massive  “leaned movement” in the country.

Football club shining and geopolitics.

14 champions in 2022, Real Madrid is a famous club in Madagascar, if not the most famous one. The club has several  jersey which are worn in the Madagascar cities, and the logo is used as decoration in many places. Players in the team are often use as examples by young boys and young girls starting football as identification idols. The club is one of the most iconic ones and through it makes Spain shine.

One other football club which has to be mentioned in the article is certainly FC Barcelona. The club has also a huge amount of fans on the island, and it makes Spain famous. In Madagascar it is not rare to see Messi jersey, Ronaldo jersey, or Modric jersey flocked in the back of football shirt of people.

A very well known and famous tongue.

Spanish tongue is one of the most spoken language all over the word. It is spoken in South America and in some African countries, in Madagascar the language is well broadcast. It is with German a to be chosen language in European schools, and a loved select. The tongue is also studied in university and recognized in the hears of many malagasy people. 

With the tongue some Spanish foods have been imported, the case in point is the splendid “paella valenciana” the standard dish for Spanish people. It can be eaten constantly with potatoes, fresh vegetables, pasta, or whatever due to the richness of the recipe. 

How the Spanish country looks like the German country.

With the importance of the country regarding the amount of establishment in the island, Spain is someway looks like Germany in Madagascar. Both countries are loved and studied, respected and well represented. On the island, as Germany, Spain is assimilated to victory. As Germany, the country disposes of legal representation in the country. Both countries dispose of a special imaginaire, specific to them and make it very identifiable in Madagascar: German people and Spanish people are easily recognized and loved in the country.

The Spain government is through punctual events present in the island. It organizes meetings to promote the iberican  culture and permit the reunion of malagasy people and Spanish people. It is a moment of reunion where iberican cinema, music and culture in general is promoted. It takes place in local areas often, a hotel, or a cultural place.
